Welcome
A
vision of providing the best medical care to the community in Fort
Worth was germinating in 1915 when several Fort Worth doctors got
together to discuss this very subject. With great foresight, they
determined that a group of doctors, rather than individually, would be able to provide better
all-around medical care to their patients.
In 1916,
Dr. Heb Beall formed The Fort Worth Clinic along with Dr. Frank Cook
Beall and Dr. John H. Sewell. All the original partners were from
Johns Hopkins. Though they registered the name “The Fort Worth
Clinic” with the Tarrant County Courthouse, they continued to
function as the Beall Clinic.
Early
discussion and development of the group resulted in the "Free Babies
Hospital". Further initiatives with a patient and his wife, W.I. and
Matilda Cook, resulted in the formation of the Cook Children's
Medical Center as it is known today.
Then over
50 years ago in 1952 “The Fort Worth Clinic” was founded, and since
that time has continued to provide competent professional and caring
healthcare services to Fort Worth-area residents. Today, our
primary focus remains meeting our patients’ needs.
You will
see friendly faces and will be treated as guests in a comfortable
atmosphere. Many of our physicians and employees have been with the
Fort Worth Clinic for 15, 20 and even over 30 years.
We provide
care to adults starting at the age of 18. Our expert team of
physicians and staff provide a comprehensive range of medical
services while holding to the traditional practice of community
oriented medical practices.
Our
Internal Medicine physicians completed specialized education and
training in adult medicine. They will provide all the essential
primary medical care as well as follow your specific medical
conditions. Your treatment and medicines are monitored closely.
Certain medical conditions may warrant the need to have a specialist
consult on your condition and perhaps provide continued medical
treatment. Physician Specialties include Neurology, Infectious
Diseases, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology (GI), General Surgery, and Diabetes
education. Clinical Laboratory, Bone
Density, and X-Ray services are available.
